intro These rules aren't complicated and I am always open to communication for any concerns or ideas people have about the character(s) or myself. Rurik is an alt of mine, so I will not be on him as often as I may be on others.

  • 001. zero-tolerance policy for bigotry, transphobia, homophobia, and racism

  • 002. I am 21+ and am most comfortable if my writing partners are as well. I am open to all types of RP, but I am most interested in dark/mature themes. Erotica will never happen in-game, but I am fine discussing it in discord.

  • 003. Your characters are welcome to harm Rurik, but not permanently maim or kill them. (All I ask is that you give me a heads up or ask!)

  • 004. IC =/= OOC. This is self explanatory. Please do not confuse ic for ooc.

  • 005. In regards to romantic interest. I am multiship. I have and will have more than one ship that are their own alternate universe. I am very selective. Rurik is also poly and has multiple partners.

  • 006. That being said, I welcome any friendship/rivalry/enemy, etc. Any friendship with Rurik! They are quite "friendly", but also a bastard.

  • 007. Rurik has a very minor Meracydian (australian) accent that I will write phonetically . If it is too difficult to understand, please shoot me a tell and I will temporarily drop it.

  • 008. One-shots at venues are ok, but for anything more substantial, I much prefer discord rp.

ㅤbiographyㅤ Born and raised in a Meracydian port town with his baby sister, Remy and spent most of his childhood getting the shit kicked out of him by his father and being ignored by his mother. Because of this, Rurik was the primary care-taker of Remy.

Somewhere in his teen years, Rurik set his father's ship ablaze after an altercation that put his sister at risk. Having had enough, he tipped over as much gunpowder and whatever flammable liquid all over the ship and let it a light. Rurik did not stick around long enough to see whatever happened to his father after the incident, but he hopes the old bastard is dead.

Spent his early twenties with a crew lead by a Hrothgar woman named Kaine. This is where he met a certain doll-like miqo'te that he grew quite fond of. Unfortunately, with a hunger for power, Rurik made an attempt to overthrow Kaine and take over the crew. An endeavor that ended in a bullet to the face.After recovery, Rurik spent a few years jailed before traveling overseas in search of something.. or someone.

Met during his pirate days, Caliban was a fixture in their life until he up and fucked it up by inciting a mutiny within the crew. Caliban is why Rurik only has one eye. Still... he is quite attached.

A lass that Rurik met in the Underground while she was in training for how to properly use magic. Noting her clear loneliness, he swooped in to try and charm her.. and it worked.

The abrasive but beautiful Captain of the Anemoi. Rurik likes to push all their buttons, but finds them fun, especially when riled up. Despite bumping heads occasionally, Rurik enjoys their company.
